Pre Republic Day celebration at Assam Secretariat and Dispur Police Station

On the 25 th of January 2018, Nayi Roshni Foundation just like previous years, this year too conducted a Pre Republic Day Celebration drive in the city. This time, the volunteers of the NGO along with the joint efforts of Sky International Academy celebrated the spirit of Republic Day by distributing Tri-colored badges and greeting people.

The drive was mainly carried out in two areas, one being at the main entrance of Assam Secretariat and second, Dispur Police Station. The volunteers not only were able to spread the spirit of Republic India but also were able to present a moment of appreciation to the officers who have been under rigorous duty pressure.

Several representatives of local news channels were present to capture the activity. Prag News also broadcasted a three minute long news story in relation to this activity of the NGO.
